We’ll introduce Code for America, and our local chapter, Code for Hampton Roads. You’ll meet members of the organizing team and hear about our chapter’s volunteer work. It’s a great way to increase your professional abilities while serving your community!

We’ll cover digital services for topics like public transportation, housing security, safety & justice, flooding, and resiliency. Hear how digital services affect major public transformations like St. Paul’s revitalization. Learn how to use open data to drive applications that inform people about about emergency operations during natural disasters.

We’re also recruiting new leaders for our organizing team. We have openings for communications and membership leads, as well as new project formations.
