YVR Foodies is a community of food lovers who visit a different restaurant around the city each month. We have a private room with guest speakers & performers and light food is included so you get to try some of the best items from each restaurant.

Our October YVR Foodies event will be at Yaggers Downtown with an awesome variety of speakers and entertainment. Trevor Poirier, co-owner, will tell the story of Yaggers. Crystal Lee, Lead Organizer of Vancouver's Feast Worldwide, will share how the feast bridges food tasting and change making. Lori Weidenhammer will share her passion for bees and beekeeping. This month's food blogger is Liam Lewis from The Little Locavore!

Liam Lewis AKA The Little Locavore

Lori Weidenhammer - aka Madame Bespatter

As an artist/educator Weidenhammer, aka Madame Beespeaker, works with students of all ages on identifying native plants, eating locally, gardening for pollinators and guerilla gardening. She is passionate about art that transforms the relationship between the artist and the viewer and creates community bonds.

Join Lori as she shares her passion for bees and tells you how to preserve the seasonal flavours of your garden by infusing herbs and spices in raw honey.
