We have a special Meetup for you coming up September 10th from 6-8:00 pm.

It's a 2-for-1 where HoneyPoint3D (http://www.HoneyPoint3d.com) will talk about what's involved in rapid prototyping and then Stuart West (http://www.westpatentlaw.com/), a patent lawyer, will discuss the legal implications of trying to protect your designs. This Meetup is a joint event with the "Inventors Education Group (https://www.meetup.com/Inventors-Education-Group/)" Meetup.

In the future, our Meetup will try to host events at different cities in the Bay Area. This event will be held in a large conference room in an office building located in the East Bay (Walnut Creek).

Please arrive on time, snacks will be served. Presentations will be about 45 minutes each. Q&A session to follow. Don't miss this event!

Stuart West:

Mr. West formed West & Associates in February 2004. Mr. West and is the managing patent attorney at West & Associates. Mr. West is responsible for coordinating prosecution, transactional and litigation matters. In addition to counseling clients in matters related to the litigation and licensing of intellectual property rights, Mr. West's practice also includes counseling clients in obtaining, protecting and enforcing rights associated with patents, trademarks, service marks, trade names, trade secrets and copyrights before the Federal Courts, in State Courts and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences.

Mr. West has extensive experience in obtaining, protecting and enforcing rights associated with patents, trademarks, service marks, trade names, trade secrets and copyrights. The technical fields of Mr. West's practice include flash memories, programmable logic devices, architecture and fabrication of semiconductor devices, disk and tape drive mechanics and electronics, holographic optical elements, optical networking, optical data storage and transmission, voice and data telecommunications and other technologies related to mechanical, electrical, civil and/or structural engineering.

Nick and Liza Kloski of HoneyPoint3D

Liza and Nick Kloski founded "HoneyPoint3D" in 2013 and founded this Meetup; one of the largest 3D printing Meetups in the Bay Area. HoneyPoint3D offers classes for all skill and age levels, rapid prototyping, 3D Modeling, Scanning and industry consultations. Considered 3D Printing experts, they have been interviewed on CNN, RT Television, San Francisco Business Times, KGO, most Bay Area newspapers and many more. Liza and Nick are the coauthors for Make Magazine's next book on 3D printing titled, "Getting Started with 3D Printing," due for publication January 2016.
