Welding 201 – Intermediate Welding with Practical Applications.

Expanding on the skills learned in Welding 101 (http://thehumanpath.org/course/welding-101-practical-welding-for-the-beginner-november-2015/), we will polish those skills and learn new techniques needed to build something practical.

You will learn:

o Weld strength, and how to test it.

o Basic fabrication of steel parts

o How to add durability to your project

Students will work together to create either a bench vise or a welding table

WORKSHOP INFORMATION

Date: December 13th, 9 am - 3 pm.
*There will be a 1-hour break for lunch. Bring a sack lunch if you wish, or there are restaurants within a 15 minute drive.

Class Size: Limited to 6

Location: The Human Path Outdoor Campus, San Antonio

Tuition: $75
*An email will go out to registered students with class details the Wednesday before the class

Gear List: Students should bring long sleeved shirts and long pants and close-toed shoes. If you have your own work gloves, please bring these as well, as they will fit you better than the standard-issue gloves we have available.

Also recommended: bring water and snacks.
