Winchelsea to Hastings Coastal Hike

I am pleased to invite you to escape the City and dive into the great outdoors on this amazing hike.

Starting in London (Elephant & Castle Station), you will be driven down to Winchelsea, where out hike begins. The hike will take us through an assortment of landscapes, including farms, woods, villages and coastal paths, with spectacular views all the way through. We will stop for lunch at a local Pub and continue our walk to Hastings, where we will celebrate our achievement over a drink and a snack, just before we make our way back to the city of London.

The intention of this trip is to give you an opportunity to escsape the city, get active, breathe some fresh air and meet some other like-minded, adventurous people.

• Hike distance: 24km
• Hike duration: 6-7 hours (including lunch)

What to bring:

• Warm, active clothing (bring layers to be able to adjust)
• Hiking boots or sturdy trainers (these may get muddy)
• Water to stay hydrated along the way (At least 1 litre recommended)
• Sun cream to keep your skin safe
• Your personal stash of snacks
• Your best stories
• There may be an opportunity to take a swim in the sea. If this is of interest, bring your swimwear and a towel
