Welcome to the Greater Toronto Writing and Walking Club!

Stories are all around us. They are the tools of the trade!

They take up space and it's for us to find little kernels and make it our own. Our stories! All writers need a solid foundation and a place to unleash their writing potential. The idea is to tap into the imagination and to allow the ideas to flow.

This event examines the romance genre and the rules of writing within that category. If you have ever thought of writing a romance novel, short or long or just thinking about getting into the industry then this mini-retreat is for you!

As we start off we talk about the basics of the creative process, we also discuss characters, settings and development of plot through imagination and the power of the written word!

This walking tour is for all levels and walkers. Please bring a notebook and pen or laptop.

The tour begins at the main doors of the Toronto Reference Library on Yonge Street north of Bloor Street.

This mini-retreat has a fixed price of $25.00.
