About Our Presenter:
Martina K. Schmidt has over 20 years of practical experience in the field of education, financial management and consulting, real estate investment and sales. Dr. Schmidt holds the position of Professor of Instruction in Finance and Real Estate in the MUMA College of Business at the University of South Florida. There she teaches face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate-level classes in the topics of corporate finance, financial modeling and analytics, and real estate.
Outside of academia, she has been an active Florida real estate licensee since 1994 and has been involved in the analysis and sale of multi-million dollar U.S. commercial and residential real estate projects. In addition, she has worked for an international aviation company in financial management and sales, conducted corporate financial training seminars, led continuing education classes for professional business organizations, and currently consults a commodity advisory firm.
