With so many changes and new technologies and possibilities in the social media landscape, it can be bewildering to try to figure out what the best, most effective ways to use social media are for you and your business.

It seems like every day we can choose from an ever-growing field of possibilities. Relying on old standbys like LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram may no longer help you to reach your target audience. In addition to email, text, and phone, do you also use FB Messenger or WhatsApp, X, formerly known as Twitter, or Threads, the new alternative to X? What about alternative chat platforms like Telegram, Viber or Threema? Do you know about these or are some of them unfamiliar to you?

Have you tried being a “creator” on Tik Tok? Which, if any, of the various Artificial Intelligence apps do you use?

Let’s share our insights, challenges, opinions and perspectives on the current role social media plays in our lives. How important is using social media to your business and/or personal life? What do you like and what do you stay away from? Why do you choose the ones you do use and what kind of results do you see?

Join us for a lively, informal discussion in person over lunch at The Grove Restaurant, 10670 Boardwalk Loop, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202. Weather permitting, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch (you order on your own, lunch not included) in Grove’s spacious and airy covered outdoor pavilion. Alternatively, we can easily move inside if conditions warrant.

This meeting is open to members and non-members alike. We look forward to brainstorming, sharing ideas, and having a good old social time of it in person (and not in the media!). The informal discussion will be facilitated by Leslie Austin.
