Adam McKay brings us the parody of our times in Don't Look Up. Can the human race - always somehow under the astute leadership of the US - really bridge its differences and come together to face a global threat that knows no borders?

Through a star-studded cast (Timothee Chalamet is in every movie I watch these days!), this movie tries to exhibit the absurd and unfortunate nature of how governments continue to handle acute crises facing the world today, including the Covid pandemic and Climate change. Our priorities are certainly not where they should be. When does the survival of mankind trump notoriously fickle political and financial gains?

Join us for an evening to discuss the parallels we see between this story and our everyday lives, where we have gone wrong and whether we can do any better.

Make sure you've watched the movie so we can have a deeper, more fruitful discussion. It's available on Netflix: https://www.netflix.com/watch/81252357
