Come to Big Data Ignite in September.
Details
The September meeting will be held at the Big Data Ignite (http://bigdataignite.com) conference instead of the usual time and place. Members of the West Michigan R Users Group will get a discount on conference registration.
Join us for an Introduction to R and to Data Wrangling in the tidyverse
Abstract:
R is a highly extensible free and open source statistical programming and graphics language. IEEE Spectrum rated R as the 6th top programming language in 2017.
Bring your laptop and join members of the West Michigan R Users Group (all are welcome) to hear two presentations: ‘YARD: Yet Another R Demo’ by Paul Egeler, Senior Biostatisician for the Spectrum Hospital Health Group and ‘Data Wrangling in the tidyverse’ by Randall Pruim, Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at Calvin College. Talks will be followed by an open question and discussion period.
Monthly meetings of the West Michigan R Users Group are open to anyone interested in R and its associated tools and variations such as RStudio, ShinyR, Revolutions R Open, SparkR and others. Discussions and presentations cover R programming, statistical techniques using R, finding help with R, R packages (add-ons) and more.
