Cees Hek has volunteered to give a talk on PostgreSQL. We have at least two more talks lined up for the next two months. I'm still looking for someone (or a group of someones) to take over organizing the group while I can still provide the venue. If people are going to volunteer to do talks that makes it a heck of a lot easier.
Cees Hek - Taking your PostgreSQL queries to the next level: I'm going to talk about some of the features that have been added to the PostgreSQL query language in the last few years. Features that you are either using already, or you didn't know you wanted: New join types, grouping clauses, window functions, schemaless data storage with jsonb, powerful jsonb query constructs, filtering aggregate functions.
The venue now hosts Ladies Learning Code on the same night. Just come in the door and head to the right (not left) and make your way to the Terra Conference Room at the end of the hall.
