CPAC 2020 report / Election 2020: America vs Socialism - GBTP Boston

Patrick is attending CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) 2020. This is put on yearly by the American Conservative Union (ACU) and is considered the largest gathering of conservative political activists in the country. I will be discussing some of the happenings and the energy level - which IS very high!

The evolution of the Democrats' nomination process has shown they, the rank and file, and also leadership, to a certain extent - are embracing Socialism.

Democratic Socialism prevails, whether it is overt in the case of Bernie, or more covert, as in the cases of Mayor Pete and Elizabeth Warren, the dictatorial elitism of Mayor Bloomberg, or the idea that none of them mind a Democratic Socialist being the nominee of their party.

"Democratic Socialism" is of course a misnomer. Imagine "Democratic Slavery" - how far would that ago? "Democratic" because you vote to take the wealth and property rights (Socialism) or labor (Slavery) of some to redistribute to the majority.

Democrats are lurching even FURTHER leftward. Green New Deal, Medicare for ALL, including illegal aliens, open borders, forgiving student loan debt, reparations... the list goes on and on. The Democrat Primary is now a Primary on Socialism and has turned into the Give Away Olympics!

Well, that and the Permanent Impeachment Party (PIP).

President Trump stated very plainly during his 2019 State Of The Union (SOTU) address, that we will NEVER become a Socialist country.
