London DAM Meetup - Lean Coffee

Join the London DAM Meetup group on Wednesday, 20 August at the King's College Anatomy Theatre & Museum (http://www.kcl.ac.uk/innovation/groups/cerch/research/projects/completed/atm.aspx) (ATM). At 19.00 we will be holding a Lean Coffee (http://leancoffee.org/) discussion on DAM topics of your choice. At 20.30 we will head to a nearby pub, The Lyceum Tavern, to continue the discussions and share a drink.

What is Lean Coffee? Lean Coffee (http://leancoffee.org/) is a type of 'un-conference' where participants decide the agenda at the start of the meeting. Topics are voted on and discussed by the group, without a main speaker, for eight minutes. We vote to continue the discussion or move on to the next topic. During the hour-long meeting we hope to discuss a half dozen DAM-related topics.

Do I have to prepare anything? Come with a few DAM topics in mind that you would like to discuss with a group of fellow DAM professionals.

Will there be coffee? Unfortunately the meeting space does not allow food or drinks. We will wet our whistles afterwards at the pub.

• Enter at the Strand main entrance.

• Take the lifts directly ahead to the 6th floor.

• Exit lifts turning right, then immediate right through doors at top of the stairwell.

• Go straight ahead into adjoining corridor, left then right and straight along to another set of double doors.

• Immediately after going through the doors the ATM is on the left hand side.
