Creative coding in Javascript Nov 26

George, aka Radarboy, is a media artist and creative coder, working mainly in digital art for the past 20-odd years. He has worked with most creative tools, from Flash and Director to Processing and Open Frameworks, but in the last two years has decided to use Javascript as his creative language of choice.

Coding can seem scary, and experienced programmers often make it look harder than it is which can make it tough to get started.
You’ll learn how Javascript can be used as a creative tool for art to bring out the creative coder in you.

Workshop Description
During this 2.5 hour session, we will learn the basics of Javascript for art.

• have installed Chrome and a webserver on your computer and know how to run a web page locally on your computer
