So, Bitcoin Hit $200 Again. Now What?

We're going to try a new location for our next meeting. Up to this point, we have been graciously hosted by Tim Peterson and Sales Automation in New Berlin. It is with his blessing that I'm excited to announce Bad Genie Rock Lounge as our next venue. As Milwaukee's only bitcoin-accepting entertainment establishment, Bad Genie is poised to be a key player in our effort to show the Greater Milwaukee Area that bitcoin means business! (pun intended;)

We'll meet upstairs to hold our discussions, welcome new members, share ideas, present projects, and plan our upcoming events and community outreach programs. After that, we'll go downstairs and enjoy some less formal socializing with bitcoin beers and bitcoin cocktails.

Bad Genie has plenty of traffic almost every night, and is located right in the heart of Downtown Milwaukee. It's a prime spot to introduce a lot of new people to bitcoin. I'm really looking forward to all the opportunities we are sure to have to sharpen our elevator pitch and general bitcoin evangelism skills.

I really hope a lot of folks who have been unable as yet to attend a meeting will be able to do so this Thursday. We're eager to finally meet you!

I have heard a lot of requests for holding meetups on the weekends as well, so stay tuned to this page and the Facebook group and page for an announcement of our first Satoshi Square meet-up in Milwaukee. Many of you know about Satoshi Squares and how awesome they are, but for who don't, Satoshi Square is a real life gathering of people interested in trading bitcoins in person. Sounds like fun, huh!? Well, it's coming, and sooner than you think. :)
