Design Your Own Foodscape!

Details
Every Second Saturday of each month, Casa Seranita will be hosting a series of permaculture design practice sessions--this is an all day workshop, beginning with a basic Intro to Permaculture for the uninitiated, from 9 - 11AM, with site tour and Q & A, and from 11-1PM (ish), we'll be mapping, coloring, collaborating and co-horting in proper permie fashion on applying design elements. After a break for lunch (potluck optional), we'll get back to work on either the designs or some hands-on earthskills workshops--everything from hugelkultur to bio-diesel.

We do ask for a $25 donation for the workshop instruction, and $25 for the design practice, for those who have the ability to pay. All proceeds benefit the 'Casa' project--a non-profit eCo-housing and permaculture demonstration site, and we are starting a scholarship fund as well, through We The Trees--more info soon! For those who attend the full day and contribute, these classes will count toward your Permaculture Design Certificate if you wish to earn one! For those who are planning to work on a certificate, there will be an option to host the class on YOUR site as well, so that you can get input from the group!
