Join us for a refreshing and impactful morning walk from the iconic Sagrada Familia to the beautiful Ciutadella Parc!

Google says the 1.9 km walk will take 25 min.

Hosted by WEMatter, this bilingual event is the perfect way to bid farewell to summer while celebrating the achievements and support we've received from our incredible community.

This event is a must-attend event for Women on the Move—whether you're a fresh face in the city, a brave migrant, or navigating exciting new life chapters. Transitioning to a new environment can be challenging, and finding a supportive community can make all the difference.

Join us as we stroll through Barcelona and discover the power of community plus generosity multiplied by kindness can transform transitions, open doors to amazing opportunities, and make new beginnings a whole lot easier.

What to Expect:

• Scenic Walk: Enjoy a guided walk through some of Barcelona’s most vibrant areas, soaking in the city’s energy and beauty as we transition from summer to fall.
• Gratitude and Reflection: Reflect on the goals we’ve set and achieved over the past season, appreciating the community support that helped us reach new heights. Share stories and express gratitude for the opportunities and connections that made it all possible.
• Intentional Generosity: Embrace the spirit of radical generosity and kindness as we enter the new season. Discuss how we can continue to support and uplift one another by being intentional with our actions and resources.
• Networking and Matchmaking: Connect with fellow attendees in an informal, supportive environment. This is a chance to share what you have to offer and find matches within the group who might benefit from your skills, products, or services—and vice versa.

Agenda:

• 10:00 AM - Meet and Greet: Gather at Sagrada Familia Calle Sardenya, get to know fellow participants, and prepare for the walk.
• 10:15 AM - Walking Tour Begins: Start the scenic walk towards Ciutadella Parc, with brief stops to reflect on our past achievements and express gratitude.
• 11:00 AM - Gratitude Session: Pause at a picturesque spot to share stories of support and success from the past season.
• 11:30 AM - Generosity Discussions: Engage in conversations about radical generosity and kindness, and brainstorm ways to incorporate these values into our daily lives and interactions.
• 12:00 PM - Arrival at Ciutadella Parc: Enjoy a casual networking session with refreshments, where you can discuss potential collaborations and find matches within the group.

Language: The event will be conducted in both English and Spanish to ensure inclusivity and engagement for all participants.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes.
• A water bottle to stay hydrated.
• An open mind and a spirit of generosity and kindness.
• Anything you’d like to offer or seek.
• A light mat or shawl to sit on at the park
