Fluttershy World -- I mean, Butterfly World!

It will be mid-summer before we know it, so let's visit this mostly-outdoor attraction before it gets too hot. We can get a bite at the Lakeside Cafe while we wait for everyone to arrive, and then it will be on to the main attraction: the butterflies and the beautiful gardens! Butterfly World is open until 5 p.m., but we might or might not stay that long. Afterward we could see other parts of Tradewinds Park, or head farther west on Sample Road to Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, or Target.

Admission to Butterfly World is somewhat steep ($27 for those 12 and over, $22 for those 2 - 11, plus $1.50 per person admission to Tradewinds Park), but you can find discount coupons on their web site (http://www.butterflyworld.com/start.html), their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Butterfly-World/259644506745), the newspaper, and other places.

This event will go on rain or shine! If it happens to be raining when the event starts, we'll see the indoor parts of Butterfly World while we wait for the rain to pass.
