Ride to Chesterfield Gorge and Bub's BBQ

This is a great ride out to the Pioneer Valley area to Chesterfield Gorge in Chesterfield, MA. Through this gorge runs the Westfield River that has cut walls up to 30 feet high through the rock to form the gorge. There is a nice 1/2 mile hiking trail along the rim of the gorge. There is a $2.00 donation charge to enter the reservation. After our nice walk we will head out to Bub's BBQ for a great lunch in Sunderland, MA.
The return trip home can be scenic Rt 9 or I-91 to the Mass Pike for those who want to slab it home. This is still a trip in the making so watch the site for changes leading up to the ride.
I've changed the start time to 9:00 AM as this is a 200+ mile round trip. Let's hope for good weather as this is a great scenic trip with fantastic BBQ for those that are hungry. I'll wind you through some beautiful central Massachusetts roads.
