Santa Susana Field Laboratory 6 Mile Nature Walk

Join Boeing and the Santa Susana Mountain Park Association (SSMPA)

on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 8 – 11 a.m.

at the historic Santa Susana Field Laboratory for a guided six mile walk through the Southern Buffer Zone, home to coastal oak woodlands, protected plant species and thriving wildlife.

Attendees will walk through this vital wildlife linkage while learning more about the crucial role the site played in our nation's space program. In addition, representatives from the San Fernando Audubon Society and Southwestern Herpetologists Society will share information about their on-site wildlife studies.

Confirmation email from Boeing is required to attend. The walk starts at 8 a.m. sharp. Gates close at 8:15 a.m.

Late arrivals and early departures can not be accommodated. In the event of heavy winds or rain, the walk will be cancelled.
