4.5 mile 650' elevation gain

We'll start the hike at the Avenida de Las Flores Trailhead.
From the trailhead we'll take a left and head east for 1/3 mile up a gentle slope which will take us to Lynn Rd. From there we'll loop around to the right and head west and follow the Lynnmere Trail. About a mile from this point the trail forks and we'll take the right fork. In another mile we'll reach the Wildwood Canyon Lynnmere Access Trail. We'll gather at this point. This 2 mile section of the trail is rolling hills with about 250' elevation gain.

From here we'll turn right following the trail downhill (-270') for a 1/2 mile into Wildwood Canyon where the trail ends at the Wildwood Canyon Trail. We'll take a left heading west on the Wildwood Canyon trail for a 1/3 miles to Paradise Falls. We'll take a few minutes here to look around.

After Paradise Falls we'll head back up the same trail a 1/2 mile, passing the Lynnmere Access trail to a wooden bridge which we'll cross over Indian Creek to the Meadows Picnic area where we'll have our potluck.

To get back to the car from the picnic area, take a right heading east on the Wildwood Canyon Trail. This 1 mile section is relatively flat for a 1/2 mile, but there is a steep climb for 1/4 mile at that point. (250' gain in this last mile).
