2025 Masherbrum 5396m Mt.Haba Climbing

Haba Snow Mountain is located in the south-eastern part of Shangri-La County, Yunnan,china. It stands 5396m above sea level, higher 3500m than Yangtze River, as a result there is a distinct Alpine vertical climate. You will meet alpine coniferous forests, azalea flowers and alpine meadows, snow lake and glaciers above 4900m.
Haba Snow Mountain is classified as an entry level snow mountain, the skillful backpackers or travel fans have a high summit rate if he or she is well equipped and prepared adequately, and the most important: best season and good weather!

Mt.Haba climbing tour organized by Masherbrum, is mostly arranged in the best season of Late of May and Oct ,staying at the boutique Lijiang hotel, full-package service and professional English-speaking group leader, one local guide serves 1 member on the summit day . We will have extra day for acclimation at Black Lake which will greatly increase summit chance.

You will start Haba village at 2700m, hike to Base Camp 4080m, going to summit in the next day. The first challenge is the rock trail before 4500m, normally snow line starts 4900m, the most challenge is "Despair Snow Slope" of 5100m-5300m. On the top, you can even watch the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Meili Snow Mountain, Daocheng Yading Mountain. Congratulations!

【Required Equipment】
Backpack: Backpack 50-70L or Duffle bag 80-120L(Horse takes this luggage bag), Small bag 30L( memberself takes this daily bag)
Sleeping Bag: It is an optional item (comfort rating -5 degrees if you decide to bring it) because you will have blanket for Day3&Day4 overnight staying in the mountain.
Clothing: Waterproof jacket, Fleece jacket and trouser, Down jacket, Fleece cap, Waterproof gloves , 2+ pairs of socks
Shoes and other accessories: Sunglasses, Stick, Thermal mug（0.5-1L）, Hiking shoes , Gaiters, Sunscreen (SPF35 and above), Headtorch (with spare battery), Raincoat.
2 Packed Lunches (Chocolate,nuts,energy bar, bread etc).

Equipment support:
Each member could enjoy procurement support for the equipments of SCARPA/Black Diamond/MILLET/deuter/KAILAS

【Requirement】
18-65 years old, the member must physically fit to the climbing sports, any major physical injuries, undergone surgery, chronic disease etc information must declare. Prior high altitude hiking and camping experience would be a plus.

RegistrationDeadline: 20days before each group

The down payment 1000CNY should be made by the registration deadline and the remaining payment is paid before Day1; the payment refund will not happen due to member personal reason after Day1.
