First Friday at Capitol Modern - Downtown

I know it’s the 4th but it’s also a first Friday too: consider coming out.

Capitol Modern’s First Friday happens almost every month. It’s a FREE, family-friendly evening of art and music. The Lēʻahi Gallery and their Sculpture Garden will be open. There will be live music by local artists in the Sculpture Garden. Food and drinks will be available on the 2nd floor patio.

The full schedule changes monthly, but the theme is the same; namely a celebration of art in all its forms. The music usually starts at 06 - 6:30, with two local bands performing sets until 9-ish. Last month (December) there were Balinese traditional dancing.

Doors open at 5pm but I’m scheduling the meetup to begin at 6pm. You’re welcome to go in before 6pm and enjoy the festivities. Usually vendors set up between 5 - 6.
