SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC AND DANCE!
The 4th Annual Makana Mele Concert Fundraiser on December 12, 2025, at Paliku Theatre, Windward Community College supports the Henry Kapono Foundation’s Hawaiian Music Scholarship, helping students learn directly from master artists and keep Hawaiian music traditions thriving. The concert, starting at 7:00 pm, will feature live performances by Jerry Santos and Dr. Kamuela Kimokeo, along with hula by Hālau Ka Lā ʻŌnohi Mai O Haʻehaʻe, under the direction of Kumu Tracie and Keawe Lopes.
Join us. Tickets are General Admission and are available here, and cost $30 for adults and $15 for students. Remember, this is a benefit concert. You should buy tickets ahead of time. Do not wait. Tickets cannot be guaranteed at the door. I WILL NOT HAVE ANY EXTRA TICKETS.

Jerry Santos is a Hawaiian singer-songwriter from Oahu, best known for his familiar tune, “Ku’u Home O Kahalu’u”, which was voted #7 on the top 50 Hawaiian songs of all time.
We'll meet at the Paliku Theater by 630 PM for those of us who want to sit together.
