🎠Well Fed, Emotionally Ruined Dinner at RIGO + The Last Five Years
Details
Community theatre is often described as a celebration of shared humanity, connection, and storytelling. All true. But let’s be honest—it’s also a fantastic excuse to gather as a group, eat well, sip something tasty, and enjoy some drama that stays safely onstage (not at the dinner table). With that spirit, you’re invited to join us for Diamond Head Theatre’s production of the Tony Award–winning musical The Last Five Years. The show tells the story of a rising author and an aspiring actress who fall gloriously in and out of love over five years. Think modern situationship, but with better lighting, emotional ballads, and people who can actually sing through their feelings. Before we plunge into non-linear timelines and musical heartbreak, we’ll meet for dinner at RIGO. This Spanish–Italian fusion spot is known for its pasta, paella, lamb chops, cozy vibes, stylish décor, and an impressive wine list. Basically, it feels like dining on a terrace in Valencia or Naples—without the airfare. Dinner reservations are at 6:00 PM, giving us plenty of time to eat, drink, and chat before the show starts at 7:30 PM. RIGO is just minutes from Diamond Head Theatre, so the transition from carbs to catharsis is delightfully smooth. Dinner is optional, but highly encouraged—because everything is better after pasta. Friendly heads-up: everyone will cover their own drinks, dinner, and theater tickets. **Note:*Please let me know if you are planning to go to dinner so that I can make adjustments to the reservations if required .

Come for the food, stay for the feelings, leave humming a tune and questioning life choices—in the best way. Thanks and hopefully you are able to join us.
