🎭 I have zero acting talent, crippling performance anxiety, and absolutely no business being on stage — which is exactly why I’ll be in the audience at Manoa Valley Theatre for their modern refresh of Hitchcock’s Dial M for Murder. If you haven’t been to MVT for a performance, you’re missing out — but we can fix that.
Before the show, I plan to fortify myself with a quick bite and one (or two… or let’s be honest) bring your own adult beverages at Serg’s Mexican Kitchen. No worries- a nearby Safeway is within easy walking distance for anyone wanting to expand their beverage options. Google insists it’s an “authentic, scratch-made Mexican restaurant with Mexico City roots,” and frankly, Google (and the 1,000+ positive reviews) has never steered me wrong in matters of tacos or carne asada. Food and drinks are delightfully self-funded.
Tickets are a very survivable $25-$52. Parking is shockingly easy (street + adjacent lot), and yes, public transportation exists and actually stops nearby. Join me — or don’t, and spend the evening scrolling in PJs until your phone dies. 😜 Your choice.
