Come celebrate the Year of the Horse. There will be two days of entertainment, food and celebrating at Chinatown Cultural Plaza, and throughout Chinatown, to welcome the Year of the Horse! Friday, 5PM - 9PM and Saturday, 10AM - 10PM. On both days there will be continuous entertainment at the Cultural Plaza.

On Friday night, between 6 - 9 pm, it's the time the Lions bless Chinatown businesses for the coming year! Choy Cheng starts at the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, 8 S King Street, then moves to businesses throughout Chinatown.

There will be lion dance groups visiting various businesses in area bounded by River St., on west side, Beretania St., on north side, Bethel St., on east side, & Nimitz Hwy. on south side. All streets will be closed for lion dances, but there will be street vendors as well.

Chinese Lunar New Year Parade: On Saturday from 4 - 6 pm, the parade will consist of 200 marchers, 20 vehicles & 2 bands. There will be road closures starting at 3 pm.

The Night in Chinatown Festival will be held all day Saturday, closing Beretania St. from Maunakea St. to Aala St. This event will run from 10 am to 10 pm.
