Fork Yeah! Lunch at Mariposa Honolulu

I usually host brunch, but today brunch is sleeping in because we’re doing LUNCH instead. 🦋🍽️
Mariposa means butterfly in Spanish. Do we have wings? No. Can we fly? Also no. But can we glide around socially, eat excellent food, admire the ocean, and enjoy each other’s company? Absolutely yes.
Mariposa serves New American and Pacific cuisine with fresh seafood, local ingredients, and bistro-style favorites like lobster club sandwiches, salmon ochazuke, and the kiawe smoked pork chops. All of this happens on a lovely lanai with ocean views, so feel free to pretend you’re in a movie montage.

The restaurant is conveniently located on the top floor of Neiman Marcus at Ala Moana Mall. Fair warning: you may encounter irresistible department-store distractions on your way up. Enter at your own shopping risk. Parking is plentiful, and there are also plenty of bus options to get you there safely (and on budget).

Everyone is responsible for their own bill—order bravely, tip kindly, live deliciously.
