Art in the Park (Come get creative with us!)

Who: Everyone who wants to join us, artistic or not!
What: Come create art with us!!! Sketch, paint, pastel, color, design, whatever your media/medium and art is. Use the scenery or create what moves you.
When: Wednesday Morning after Carole's whale-watching meetup, I will head right over to Magic Island to meet up with those who wish to join. I will probably be there until about 2:30 p.m., packing up at 2:15 p.m. Feel free to come and go anytime during this time frame. Just reply with the estimated time you can be there and change your RSVP if you are not coming. If you decide to come after the RSVP is closed, you can still come, and I can add you in.
Where: Magic Island/Ala Moana Park. We will meet at the red-and-white gate on the marina's side, then find a suitable location in the shade. If you miss us at the gate, we will post our location after we are settled. We may have to keep shifting with the shade.
Why: Connecting through art! A few of us came up with this idea during the coffee connection. I am trying to reconnect with my artistic side. I am just getting back into sketching again.
How: Bring your own media/medium & supplies! Bring a picnic blanket, chair, or towel to sit on. I will have some adult coloring books and colored pencils if you want to join, but have not found your artistic abilities yet.
Parking: There is ample free parking at Magic Island, located inside Ala Moana Park.
Notes:

• It will be lunchtime. There is an L & L Hawaiian BBQ in the park, but I suggest you bring your own picnic lunch/water/snacks if this is your mealtime.
• Bathroom available nearby
• Keep it clean! Please keep control of your supplies & leave the area better than we found it; it is often windy there, and we do not want to add to the litter in the water. Before you leave, please scout your area and the area around us for litter.
