Faria Portuguese Restaurant

Faria Restaurant is a popular, Portuguese restaurant in Kailua featuring Pasifika Portuguese cuisine. It was established in January 2025 and is known for its homestyle traditional Portuguese cooking with additions of Hawaiian flavors. It is a family-run restaurant lead by former Hukilau Café members.

Some of the popular dishes include Portuguese Bean-Soup, Sardinhas, Vinha dalhousie, and Caldeirada de Pescadora, which can be paired with a tasty glass of Portuguese wine. The Portuguese Bean Soup is the best I've ever had. The Linguica Asada/Linguica Sausage has a hot presentation over a flame. The Pistachio Rum Cake usually sells out. Please arrive early enough to look for street parking nearby. Bus #67 is available from Ala Moana Shopping Center. You may also arrive via Taxi, Uber, Lyft or other ride-share. Regardless of the transportation choice, and if you choose to do so, let's drink responsibly.
