HI Interactive Mural Walk in Kaka’ako followed by Pau Hana

It’s been awhile since we’ve done this walk so I figure that this may be a good time since the weather has cooled down some. With over 300+ murals all thru Kaka’ako there’s no shortage of artistic talent in Honolulu. However, you probably didn’t know that some of the murals are interactive. Best part is the walking and viewing of murals is FREE. Unfortunately, the after stroll fellowship at the pub is not. So, I invite you to come join on a short stroll thru the neighborhood to take in some local art and join us in fellowship at Aloha Beer Company after the walk. A couple of reminders:

1. Although this is a relatively easy walk, please bring some water and use sun screen as needed. We will walk at a leisurely pace, but you are responsible for your own fitness level
2. Public parking is all throughout Kaka’ako, there’s the parking garage adjacent to the Salt complex and also metered parking throughout. There’s a bus that stops on Ala Moana Boulevard right in front of the Highway Inn which is about a 5-minute walk to the link-up point.
3. Every one is responsible for their own tab at Aloha Beer Company.
4. Download the. POW! WOW! AR app prior to the walk. You’ll need that to view the interactive murals.
5. Keep an eye out on Meet-Up chat the day of the event in the event I have to postpone due to inclement weather.
