Join us on Zoom for an evening of 80s songs with one thing in common: every song has the name of a person or place in its title.
From first names and famous characters to cities, countries, streets, and other destinations, we'll see how many different people and places found their way into the music of the decade.
We'll listen together to a mix of familiar hits and less obvious selections, with some chart history, trivia, and stories behind the songs along the way. There will also be opportunities to share your own favorites and requests that fit the theme.
New to the group? You're welcome to simply listen. Cameras are optional, and there's no pressure to speak or request a song.
After the meetup, I'll share a playlist featuring songs from the evening so you can revisit them later.
