What was happening on the music charts this week during the 1980s?
Join us on Zoom for a quick 30-minute trip back through ’80s chart history. We’ll visit five different years, with five songs and five short stories about what was happening on the charts during this same week.
Rather than simply replaying the decade’s biggest hits, we’ll dig a little deeper. Expect forgotten hits, surprising chart positions, songs on their way up or down, unusual debuts, and records that became much more influential than their original chart performance might suggest.

We’ll listen to five full songs, with a little chart history and trivia with each one.
