Generously owned & operated by our very own Steve Krueger, the Barn 'o Fiats (BOF) has many, many old parts pulled from several parts-cars, some of which are still partially intact. The Barn operates under the Chi-FLU 'pay it forward' rule: If you need a part, please feel free to take it; but please donate your good parts so that we can keep this good thing going. http://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/2/5/9/8/600_6549624.jpeg We look at it like this - since we are all 'parts hoarders', (keeping valuable & rare pieces of Fiats that we 'think' we may need 'someday'), we figured it was better to 'pool' all our parts where they might help keep another Chi-FLU'ster on the road & functional RIGHT NOW! So, clean out your garage of all those old parts you've been collecting, and bring 'em up! (We also accept cash donations for future purchase of parts-cars).
This years event plan is to pull apart and catalog Willie's X1/9 which should be a great learning experience for all of us who have never worked on or spent any time with these great cars, but as always, we will be finding & donating parts for our own cars! We will have the usual compliment of tasty cool (and HOT!) beverages, along with fire-blackened dead cow.
