Although there are several ways to index large text files (Lucene, ElasticSearch, etc...), Go is incredibly fast at searching through in a brute force manner. Technologies like Gorilla, BoltDB, and Angular 2 are used to show off a simple search app on the greatest text ever written...
Bio:
Ivan is passionate about client-side web technologies. He's a complete newbie when it comes to Go but really enjoys developing web apps. Historically, Ivan has been a Java developer for about 5-6 years, a .NET developer for a little over a year, and a web developer for about 4 years.He currently does full-stack development professionally (.NET MVC, Razor), web sites and apps on the side (Angular 2, SASS, Foundation, Bourbon Neat, NodeJS, HUGO, etc...). More fun facts: He plays soccer weekly, goes to mud runs, loves to snow ski, plays the saxophone, and hangs out with his family.
