I am very excited to announce that Mike McNeil of Balderdash (http://balderdash.co) will be our December guest speaker! As some of you may already know, Mike developed the Sails framework (http://sailsjs.org) with the support of Balderdash. Mike got involved in Node.js early on, and after building a few early apps, recognized the need for an MVC solution to normalize patterns.
About Mike
Mike leads a team of very talented individuals at Balderdash, a UX-focused web and mobile studio in Austin, TX. This has funded the ongoing development of the framework, but also provided plenty of excellent opportunities to build out and utilize Sails.js in production, based on real-world use cases.
In line with our MEAN Stack projects, I hope, and, quite frankly, expect us to use Sails for one of our project implementations! :-)
