Lunch Hour w/Red Pencil conference discussion & optional coworking-space tour

Details
Meet other area professional editors at this (air-conditioned!) casual and congenial lunchtime gathering for info-sharing, discussion, advice, and community-building. Bring business cards to share.
You may wish to come a few minutes early to order food/drink at the counter.
In addition to our general conversation, we'll chat about the Red Pencil editors' conference on Sept. 21 near Seattle. Organized by the Northwest Editors Guild (edsguild.org) every other year, Red Pencil is the largest conference on the West Coast specifically for editors, attracting 200+ attendees. Local editors who'd like to go can do hotel-room shares, homestays with Seattle editors, and/or carpools to reduce expenses; if interested, contact Sherri or come to this lunch hour :)
If attendees are interested, we'll conclude the lunch hour with a quick tour of Eugene Mindworks, a coworking space across from 5th Street Market that was written up in the Register Guard a few days ago (https://www.registerguard.com/special/20190702/bluechip-pick-desk-do-your-thing).
