Originally from India, Sam received an undergraduate degree for Geological Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. But his interests in IT took over and he transitioned into IT related work midway through his graduate studies. Eventually he found his way to WI and with a few like minded individuals started BlueCity LLC with a focus on mobile devices, sensors, people and their environment. Specializing in the gray area where hardware meets software meets human behavior over ad-hoc connections. They love to experiment and see how they can push the boundaries of what is possible. Their goal is to see how they can involve people to bring practical solutions to real world problems.
