Open Source Software Licensing - Isaac Slutsky from Brooks Kushman

The presentation will begin with a basic discussion of the legal issues related to open source software. The speaker will then discuss ways in which open source can be used in business, including how to identify what open source you are using, how to use it correctly, and how to comply with the open source license terms.

Unit Testing - Josh Koppen from Spud Software

For the Meetup, I'd like to talk Unit Testing. Defining unit tests, justifying their existence for any non-believers, differentiating unit tests from integration tests, the red-green-refactor loop and walking through some examples to illustrate tools and techniques. Finally, I'll touch on test-driven development (TDD).

Bio for Josh Koppen:

I'm Josh Koppen, I've been a developer here at Spud for about 2 years and have been programming in the Microsoft ecosystem professionally since '98, but started PEEK'ing and POKE'ing with a Commodore 16 in '84.
