GAAD - Accessibility Unconference

Global Accessibility Awareness Day is May 17, and the a11yRTP meetup will be celebrating by having an accessibility unconference from 4-6PM at SAS.

The way an unconference works is you propose the topics for the sessions, and people who are also interested in similar topics get together and meet about it. The topics can simply be something you want to know more about, a problem where you want to get a group of people together and discuss the issues, or something of interest you would like to share. The number and length of the sessions will be decided once the conference begins. Unconferences are usually far less formal than a traditional lecture style conference, and all (accessibility related) topics are welcome!

Afterwards we will have a social gathering at Ruckus Pizza, Pasta & Spirits across from the SAS campus. (2025 Renaissance Park Pl, Cary, NC 27513)
