Overview

This is a meetup of people in Pittsburgh who are interested in topics related to the Quantified Self. Topics include, but not limited to:

Personal experience with your own data gathering, self-tracking, or analysis.

Research related to technologies for self-tracking, visualizations of personal data, user studies of personal informatics tools, etc.

Demonstration of tools that you've created or use.

Tutorials on how to do self-tracking.

Format

The meetup is split into two sessions:

In the first session, we'll have time for people to meet, network, enjoy the snacks, and do casual hands-on demos. People can show their projects, try cool technologies, and chat.

In the second session, starting around 6:55 pm, we'll have presentations.

We have an exciting lineup this month, including two first time and two veteran QS presenters:

• Cullen Richardson: “Sex As A Variable”

• Norman Schultz: "First data on Heart rate variability and Meditation"

• Jon Foote: "Code hard, play hard: Using quantification against itself"

• Matt Tornowske: "Matt's Qualified Self, Where He Wants to See Quantified, and What Can Be Done in the Meantime."

We hope to see you there Wednesday night!
