Software Delivery for Pandemic Emergency Response - Building Lifesaving Tools

Details
June's Product Party host is Adam Feldman. He joined Luminare in August 2020 as the Product Owner for COVID-19 solutions. Over 6 months, he led a small team in building two new products to assist in pandemic emergency response for public health departments.
Luminare's Innoculate system has since helped rapidly administer millions of doses of COVID-19 vaccine throughout Texas and the U.S., opening up a whole new market for Luminare's software.
Join us to look back at the frenetic experience of a small group designing, delivering, and iterating on software under pressure, deploying multiple times per day in response to real-time customer feedback. Look forward with strategic and tactical lessons learned in the trenches, from mistakes and successes.
- Pilot customers – the superpower that enables rapid delivery and iteration
- Per-tenant configuration – reduce risk with feature flags, and delight customers with rapid customization
- How deeply can a Product person get involved in the engineering workflow?
- Wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving team or startup
- Filterable data tables – powering disparate user workflows in enterprise software
- CSV export + import – the tried-and-true functionality band-aid
- Making decisions despite incomplete information
- Taking care of yourself under pressure
We meet at 5:30 for networking, then will start the presentation around 6:15. We'll have food and drinks!
Throughout his life, Adam Feldman has enjoyed solving technology problems, and problems using technology. For the past 5 years, he's grown and built B2B SaaS products in roles spanning engineering, product, and customer success. Adam currently manages business technology and analytics at Luminare.
We hope you can join us at Luminare's office, adjacent to the Texas Medical Center!
