Serverless South Wales Inaugural Meetup

Our inaugural Serverless South Wales meetup is taking place at Tramshed Tech in Cardiff where we will have some amazing talks. We are delighted to announce our amazing lineup of speakers:

Danilo Poccia (@danilop)

After delivering the closing keynote for ServerlessDays Cardiff, we welcome back Danilo to kick off the meetup group. Danilo works with startups and companies of any size to support their innovation. In his role as Evangelist at Amazon Web Services, he leverages his experience to help people bring their ideas to life, focusing on serverless architectures and event-driven programming, and on the technical and business impact of machine learning and edge computing. He is the author of AWS Lambda in Action from Manning.

Steph Locke (@TheStephLocke)

Steph is the founder of a consultancy in the UK and a startup helping businesses get AI ready. Her talks, blog posts, conferences, and businesses all have one thing in common – they help people get started with data science and AI. Steph holds the Microsoft MVP award in both AI and Data Platform for her community contributions. In her spare time, Steph plays board games with her husband and takes copious pictures of her doggos.

Garreth Davies (@geedavies)

Garreth is a cloud consultant at Mobilise.cloud. In this lightning talk, Garreth describes the serverless application delivered for Adur and Worthing council, which uses Lex and Connect to automate the booking process for clinical waste collections
