ggChampions Beta Season

Welcome to the first ever ggChampions Beta Season! Beta Season will run concurrently with ggChampions Beta High School Season for 5 weeks – 1 week of warm ups, 3 weeks of heats and 1 week of finals.

Dates for the Beta High School Season:
Warm-ups: 22 Jul - 28 Jul
Main season: 29 Jul - 18 Aug
Finals: 19 Aug - 25 Aug

Games played

League of Legends
You need to play one of the following game modes to be eligible for earning Seasons score:

5v5 Ranked Solo games
5v5 Ranked Flex games
3v3 Ranked Flex games
Fortnite
You need to play one of the following game modes to be eligible for earning Seasons score:

Solo games
Duo games
Squads games

Rules

If you already have an account at your local center you will automatically be entered into Seasons, no sign up required
The top League of Legends player and the top Fortnite player each week at those centers taking part, will win a weekly ggChampions medal
Your top 20 games will count towards your total 3-week season score
The top 200 players at the end of 3 weeks will move on to the finals
If you make it to the finals, your top 5 games will count towards your score
The 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners (schools) for each game will be awarded with the following prizes*

1st place winners – $100 cash for LoL winner AND $100 cash for Fortnite winner
2nd place winners – $75 cash for LoL winner AND $75 cash for Fortnite winner
3rd place winners – $50 cash for LoL winner AND $50 cash for Fortnite winner
*Prizes are still to be confirmed and are subject to change.
