Sat., Dec. 3 - Walk Oscar SP, Osprey (dogs welcome on this walk)

Let's walk the Green Trail in Oscar Scherer State Park. The eagles have finally nested...she is on eggs and he is usually in the area. Bring binoculars, if you want.

There is an entry fee to the park ($4/person or $6 for a carload). There is only one main road in the park that goes straight from the entry gate to the rear parking lot. PASS the turn off for the campground. Turn in at the sign that says "Lake Osprey Picnic Area" See the Nature Center, with it's parking lot, on the right. Meet in front of the Nature Center.

There are rest rooms in the building to the left of the Center and in the campground, through which we will walk.

We'll leave the parking lot at 9:00. Guests are always welcome on walks.
