Victor Niederhoffer will speak on Shibboleths of the Market

Victor Niederhoffer will speak at the upcoming NYC Junto meeting on Thursday August 4, 2016. This free event is open to the public and will occur at the General Society Library, 20 West 44th Street. The agenda includes socialization at 7 PM, open discussion at 7:30 PM, and Niederhoffer’s talk at 8 PM. You may arrive at any time.

Niederhoffer's talk will cover "Shibboleths of the Market." Niederhoffer is a quantitative hedge fund manager, squash hall of fame member, philanthropist, advocate for free enterprise, and father of seven children. He studied statistics and economics at Harvard (BA 1964) and the University of Chicago (PhD 1969). His autobiography is The Education of a Speculator.

Founded in 1985, the NYC Junto is a monthly meeting hosted by Niederhoffer. Junto meetings are moderated by Niederhoffer and Barron's columnist Gene Epstein. Meetings occur on the first Thursday of each month.
