JumpStart #01. The first in the series of talks and workshops to enable those interested or on the edge of starting their first business.

Featuring:
A Keynote by Joseph Mambwe who has made a business in developing mobile apps for the past 5 years. A full description of his journey so far is below.

The keynote will be followed by a panel of 4 guests who run their businesses part-time and full-time in:
Computers,
Mobile app developer,
Property Services,
Law Consultancy.

During the "Panel", the audience will be introduced to our guests, and have time to ask them questions on their entrepreneurial journey so far. This panel will be made up of:

Seun has built a success business buying and selling laptops online. What started just for pocket money in university, now grosses more than his current full time job as an Engineer.

Wanangwa Chisenga, of Dynamic Costs Consultancy.
"Basically an indipendent costs lawyer" and so he puts it in a few words. Wanangwa is a consultant to law firms on the costs of lawsuits.

And finally, our fourth panellist, and also the Keynote Speaker Jopesh Mambwe.

Joseph Mambwe is a 24 year old entrepreneur who started his software company while studying at the University of Cambridge.

He taught himself how to code and has been creating and marketing his own apps ever since, which have been downloaded by millions of people worldwide.

He has also had some of his apps featured worldwide by Apple and in 2014 was named one of ‘16 Incredibly impressive students at Cambridge University’ by Business Insider. (http://www.businessinsider.com/most-impressive-students-at-university-of-cambridge-2014-5?IR=T)

Since graduating, he has spent his time travelling the world while being able to build his business, taking advantage of the fact that with a software/internet based business, you can work from anywhere.

He will be giving a talk about exactly how he got started, how his business model works and also the general economics around internet based businesses.
