Sweat Lodge
Details
Despite the recent heat wave and potential burn ban we plan to host a Sweat Lodge on Saturday July 17th at 2:00 PM with pot luck afterwards. Due to the potential burn ban this will be the perfect time for a teaching Lodge.
The only change to the traditional Lodge would be the absence of the Sacred fire. This means the Lodge will be accessible to those who have physical limitations that would otherwise prevent them from entering a hot Lodge.
This is a traditional ceremony to reconnect with Mother Earth and your place within the sacred hoop. A teaching Lodge is a great introduction to the Sweat Lodge ceremony but can offer the same Spiritual benefits as a Healing or Warrior Lodge.
