Those who wish to spend the night since it is around 2.5 hours from Modesto, there are a multitude of campgrounds within a short drive, and also Gena's Sierra Inn, which has hotel rooms and cabins for cheap! www.genassierrainn.com

If you have a National Parks pass, that will get you into Kings Canyon, or it is a $35 per vehicle entrance fee.

On Sunday morning, we will visit Cat Haven for a guided tour and see some of the rarest big cats in the world; only 20 minutes from King's Canyon and 3 minutes from Gena's Sierra Inn.
