Zev Adelman is the Director of Computer and Software Research at the Office of the Chief Scientist, Ministry of Economy.

Zev started working at the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) in 1975, initially as coordinator of loan which Israel received from the World Bank to foster "national projects" in R&D where the grants were administered by the OCS. One of the main purposes of the loan was to help the OCS develop its ability to encourage industrial R&D as an avenue for industrial development. Subsequently Zev served as an evaluator of electronics projects. He was very active in helping the software industry gain recognition for eligibility for government support.

Zev completed his Bachelors of Science in Physics and Mathematics at Brooklyn College in 1970, then his Masters in Physics from Columbia University. In 1971 Zev came on aliyah and subsequently received his MBA from Hebrew University. He also did graduate studies in Computer Science.

Aboutt Curiyo (http://curiyo.com/)

Video on Curiyo (http://curiyo.com/) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sroeMEkzxCc

Founded in 2011 by Bob Rosenschein, Curiyo (http://curiyo.com/) is Jerusalem based start-up that has developed a cloud-based platform which increases time spent, engagement and monetization for publishers.

The technology automatically places faint, polite links on key words on the publishers' pages. Users conveniently click on these terms to discover a wealth of information without leaving the page. They can also "long-click" on absolutely any word to find out more. Curiyo (http://curiyo.com/) opens up a small information window, filled with relevant content in context, actually creating new screen real estate and making it easy to find out more about something without the effort.

The value for users is simple: quick relevant information in 1 click. The value add for publishers is broad: keep users happier and on the site longer, expose them to the brand longer, and engage and monetize them more effectively.

Entrance fee is 20nis at the door

(this goes to pay for JBNF expenses, not into the pockets of the JBNF organizers who are all volunteers, and makes you a partner in encouraging business in the Jerusalem area)

There is going to be some serious business networking, as always
